Repair centers are both DJI and Yuneec authorized

July 10, 2017

Need to repair your drone? You now have an option other than pulling out your personal toolbox: Fortress UAV officially launched its drone repair service today, and according to a press release its repair centers are both DJI and Yuneec authorized.

Fortress UAV is a subsidiary of Fortress Solutions, which provides telecom, mobile, and video equipment repair. And according to a press release, the company has been working on its drone repair and logistics division for “the better part of a year.”

Fortress UAV launched without fanfare in February, but officially launched today. Brendon Mills, president and CEO of Fortress UAV and Fortress Solutions, says the team is excited to “aggressively expand our business to fulfill the critical repair and logistics needs for both enthusiasts and commercial operators alike.”

Both commercial and consumer drones can be repaired at Fortress UAV facilities. Currently, Fortress UAV can repair Yuneec’s Typhoon H and Typhoon 4K, as well as DJI’s Mavic, Inspire series, Phantom 3, Phantom 4, and Matrice 600. But more drones will be added.

Not sure if it’s worth it to repair your drone? Fortress UAV offers free, detailed estimates, but you do have to send your drone to one of its facilities. It’s headquartered in Texas, with additional facilities in Florida and Kansas. Get more information here.

Even though crashes are bound to happen, remember to fly safely. But at least if you do crash, you now have another option when it comes to repairing your drone.
